The Asociación Española de Grupos Instrumentales y Vocales Especializados (Spanish Association of Specialist Vocal and Instrumental Ensembles) -AEGIVE-is an organisation created in 2006. Its main objective is to lend support to specialist Spanish ensembles in their artistic and professional evolution, as well as in their national and international promotion.

The Association provides assessment to its member ensembles in regard to management and hiring, as well as in the formation of management teams. The Association also acts as an interlocutor with the public administrations and other entities in obtaining subventions and grants for the artistic projects pursued by the associated ensembles. AEGIVE also works towards the rediscovery and promotion of Spanish music and to foment contemporary creation, as well as in the promotion of Spanish performers.

The Association is currently made up of the 28 most important Spanish ensembles specialising in repertories spanning everything from early to contemporary music.
